Estimating NPC troop numbers and type from scout reports

As you probably know, scout reports in NapWar are usually not accurate, you will just get an estimate like host, gang, crew, etc. Here is a list of the number of troops each of these terms refer too. The unit types you find in NPC villages and wilds also have different unit names than the player units, and below there is a list of what these means too.

Raiding and combat with your first units

Once players around you run out of beginner protection you want to start raiding them, the weaker players that is. Inactive players without any army is what we hope to find, use scouts to check for this. I think everyone should upgrade their barracks to level two before they start raiding so that they get access to scouts. Intel is pretty important and saves you both a lot of time and helps you not getting too many troops killed. Read the rest of this entry »
